Zoom Integration
How to add, use, and remove the Zoom integration — connect your Zoom account so Go Funnel can match cloud recordings to sales calls, score transcripts, and track webinar attendance.
The Zoom integration lets Go Funnel connect to your Zoom account so that completed cloud recordings are automatically matched to the sales calls booked in your workspace, transcripts are pulled in for AI call-scoring, and webinar registrations and attendance are tracked against your leads.
Go Funnel connects to Zoom using Account-Level OAuth. A Zoom account admin authorizes the app once, granting Go Funnel read-only access. Go Funnel never creates, edits, or deletes anything in your Zoom account.
What you need before you start
- A Go Funnel account. Sign in at app.gofunnel.ai.
- Zoom admin/owner role. Account-Level OAuth can only be granted by an admin or owner on the Zoom account.
- (For recordings) a paid Zoom plan. Cloud Recording and audio transcripts are a paid Zoom feature (Pro or higher). Webinar tracking requires a Zoom Webinar license. The connection and webinar-registration features work on any plan.
How to add the integration
- Sign in to Go Funnel at app.gofunnel.ai.
- Go to Settings → Integrations.
- Find the Zoom card (under Analytics) and click Connect.
- You'll be redirected to Zoom's sign-in and consent screen. Sign in as your Zoom admin/owner and review the requested read-only permissions.
- Click Allow. Zoom redirects you back to Go Funnel and the connection completes automatically.
- The Zoom card now shows Connected, along with capability badges (User info, Recordings) confirming the permissions were granted successfully.
Permissions Go Funnel requests
All Zoom permissions are read-only and account-level:
- View your user information and email — to identify the connected Zoom account and match it to your Go Funnel workspace.
- View your cloud recordings (list recordings, list recording files, and read a recording) — to find completed recordings and download their transcripts for call-scoring.
- View your webinars, registrants, and absentees; view webinar participant reports — to record webinar registrants as leads and reconcile who attended.
Go Funnel requests no permission to create, modify, or delete any Zoom data.
How to use the integration
Once connected, everything happens automatically — there's nothing to run manually.
- Sales calls. When a Zoom cloud recording finishes, Zoom notifies Go Funnel. Go Funnel downloads the recording's metadata and transcript, matches it to the corresponding booked call in your workspace, and generates an AI call score. View the results under Call Intelligence — open any call to see its transcript and AI score breakdown.
- Webinars. When someone registers for a Zoom webinar, Go Funnel records them as a lead. When the webinar ends, Go Funnel reconciles who attended versus who was a no-show and updates those leads.
You can check the connection's health at any time under Settings → Integrations → Zoom.
How to remove the integration
You can disconnect Zoom from Go Funnel at any time:
- In Go Funnel, go to Settings → Integrations.
- Open the Zoom card and click Disconnect, then confirm.
This immediately deletes Go Funnel's stored OAuth credential for your Zoom account. Go Funnel stops making any Zoom API calls and ignores any further Zoom events for that account. The Zoom card returns to Not Connected.
Revoking access from Zoom
You can also revoke the app directly from your Zoom account:
- Sign in to the Zoom App Marketplace.
- Click Manage → Added Apps (or search for the app).
- Find Go Funnel and click Remove.
Removing the app in Zoom revokes the OAuth tokens so they can no longer be used.
Data and privacy
Go Funnel only reads the Zoom data described above and stores what it needs to show you call transcripts, AI scores, and webinar attendance in your workspace. OAuth tokens are stored encrypted. For details on how Go Funnel handles your data, see our Privacy Policy.
